At about 3 1/2 miles into my run I hit a wall and it felt like I had 20 lbs weights on my ankles... I seriously wanted to quit, just walk home! Instead of giving up, I blocked out all of the negative and kept pressing on. The next time I looked down at my Garmin, I had already ran 4 1/2 miles. Just a mile back I wanted to quit and now I felt strong again! It is amazing what determination can do, it is a powerful drug! Other than catching a stoplight at the end of my run, I stayed steady and finished with a decent pace for 6 miles (8:15).
